Christmas Eve 2010

This is our 1st Christmas to stay in Birmingham, AL and not travel to Memphis. We thought it was really important to start our own Christmas at our house for Parker. It was different not being in Memphis and traveling but luckily we were able to have an early Christmas with my family. 

Christmas Eve was such a nice day. Colt, Parker and I spent time together during the day. I did a ton of cooking and Colt and Parker and Khaki went to visit his grandaddy. That evening, we attended a Christmas service at Dawson, then went to Ganny's house to eat dinner and open gifts.  We all draw names and exchanged gift cards. Branson, Maci and Parker got a few extra gifts and toys, they had a great time! After opening gifts we played "White Elephant (Dirty Santa)" - it was a lot of fun and everyone had a good time! Having little ones at Christmas makes it so fun and entertaining!

Molly's 19th Birthday!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Colt, Parker and I had a WONDERFUL Christmas! I am so behind on my december blogs - so, I am going to play catch up before I blog about Christmas! There are two more blogs below this one!

Molly's Birthday was December 20th! We went to P.F. Changs for dinner - it was SO yummy!! Then we went back to Colt's parents to open gifts and eat cupcakes!

Parker's 2nd Hair Cut!

We decided to get Parker's bangs cut.... I really did not want too but they were getting so long!  Parker did NOT like it this time at all! Michael only got 3 snips in while he was freaking out.  I like it ok... but I am ready for it to grow back a little;) I know I sound like a mom.

Monkey Business

A few weekends ago two of Parker's buddies turned 1! Both parties were monkey themed and SO cute! We had a great time at both!! Here are some pictures!

Harrison's birthday was at Trinity Methodist Church and it was sock monkey themed! Parker was having a great time and loved all of the push toys! He also had Jenna's mom feeding him vanilla wafers - he  actually made her put them in his mouth! He is a mess;)

Evan's 1st birthday was at his house and was monkey themed! The night before Jenna and I went to help Melinda make the cupcakes. I am not sure how much help we were but we had a great time hanging out!! The party was so cute and Parker had a blast playing with all of Evan's toys and his friends!  Colt and I had a great visiting with everyone too!

McWane Science Center

Jenna and I took the babies to play at McWane Science Center last week! We had a really great time! What I was looking forward to most was taking Parker to the 'Snow Room'! He loves sand - so I was thinking he would love the snow - and he did!!  It was a really nice day!  I want to go again soon... the snow room ends January 2nd.

Buying Our Christmas Tree

The day after Thanksgiving we took Parker to buy our family Christmas tree! I do not think he understood what we were doing but he had a great time running around the trees!
