Mommy and Me Bootcamp

The boys and I have been going to a Mommy and Me Bootcamp! We all love it and it's so much fun for the kids... and a great workout for me!  It makes it all worth it to see Parker participate in class and then "practice" his moves at home. Colt and I have discussed that we hope to teach and to set an example for the boys of how important it is to take care of your body. I think this class is a step in the right direction.

Here is a link if you are interested.

I took these pictures from the classes "Meet Up" and facebook pages. I wish there were pictures of Parker doing his burpies, "lifting" weights, and doing his crunches! It is so cute!

It's a good thing you cannot really see my face - I am struggling :)

Proud of Sweet Maci!

Ami asked me a few weeks ago if I would walk with Maci on stage for the Southern Glamour 2012 All Natural Nationals pageant!! Of course, I said YES and called Jamie right away! We have been wanting Maci to be in a pageant forever because we think she is BEAUTIFUL and would do great!  We met up with them on Friday night to practice on the stage and saturday, Jamie and I met them in the parking lot to take Maci into the pageant.  This was our plan to make her think her mom was not there, she is a mommy's girl.

We played, practiced, and got her dressed. Jamie and I LOVED every minute of it!  When we were about to go on stage, I was nervous about how she would do - but when we got up there, she did amazing!  She took her first turn so slow and perfect I knew she was in it to WIN it!!  She hit every mark and every turn... she gave tons of smiles, kisses, and waves! Jamie was close to the stage where Maci could see her and we gave her instructions to "look for Jamie" and we found Jamie before we went on.  Also, Jamie and I had practiced with her and we had a plan for each mark (5 marks) of what she was supposed to do.  I would tell Maci what to do while Jamie was showing her!

We were so nervous and excited - I think I sweated and was more nervous during that than I ever was competing in cheerleading;) I also think it is safe to say that Jamie and I are hooked and loved working with Maci!  I think we might need to start a business..... Ha! Ha! Thank you Ami for letting us be a part of Maci's big day!!!

Disney World!!!!

Last week, we went with Colt's parents to Orlando, FL for the International Homebuilders Show and to spend a day at Disney. We went on this same trip last year, but had a little change of plans... if you want to read about it click on this link.  We have had Disney passes sitting in will call for over a year now. So, we were pretty excited to go since we were not able to use them last year. This was Beckett's first flight and he and Parker did great on both flights! We were SO proud of them!

On Wednesday, we headed to the opening ceremonies at the Builder's Show and then walked the exhibit floor...  It was really neat! That night, we went to a nice dinner with Alagasco. Thursday, we went to the Magic Kingdom and we had the BEST time!! I was a little worried about taking two little ones, but it was a lot of fun!! The park is perfect for little ones -  every ride that Parker could ride, Beckett could ride too - and Parker loved the rides! They also had a nice baby center where I could nurse Beckett. Overall, the boys loved it, we loved it, and Parker did not throw ONE fit ALL day!!!! We were absolutely exhausted by the time we left. That night, the guys went to a dinner with Alabama Power.  On Friday, we went to downtown Disney for lunch while the guys were at the conference.  And then we headed back there for dinner too.  Downtown Disney is a fun place to walk around - they have a few rides, some shopping and nice restaurants.

It was a really quick and fun trip. We all had a great time!! Here is an overload of pictures!
