The Girls are in Town!

My sisters are in Birmingham for the week. We are having a great time! We have been swimming, eating, shopping, walking, eating and LOTS of playing with Parker. It's also been SO great having the extra help around the house! I have not taken a single picture with my camera... these are all from my iPhone. I will try and and take some better pictures!

Dawson Pools and Popsicles Play Date

My church had a fun play date with tons of pools, a water slide, toys and popsicles in the front lawn. It was so much fun! Parker had a blast! He was so dirty between playing in the pools, crawling in the grass and eating his popsicle! It was SO hot, but it was a lot of fun for the moms too!

Our sweet friends, Gavin, Janelle, Jack, Clara and George Ball all came to dinner tonight! We had a great time playing! Parker loved Jack and George.... but he REALLY had eyes for Clara! He followed her everywhere and wanted to be right next to her. He also thought they were SO funny! He was laughing SO hard and uncontrollably! It is the best laugh ever!! Also, tonight we had a big first... Parker stood all by himself for a long time! He has been doing that a little but this time was by far the longest by himself. I am getting my running shoes ready!

I keep forgetting to blog about this:

"The Most Important Place on Earth" By Robert Wolgemuth is a great book! My Mom's and More group at church read this book and I loved it! I used it as my daily devotional, it is filled with scripture. This book is geared towards families with children but I would recommend it to anyone. Anyone who has a family, wants a family or who's children have already left home. It is a great reminder of SO many important things!!

Last Day at the Beach....

Today was our last day at the beach.... Sad! We have had a great time relaxing. It has been so nice to have both of my guys with me! Here are a few more pictures.

Destin, Florida

We are in Destin, Florida! It is beautiful here! The water is perfect.... NO oil at ALL! The environmental cleanup crews are recommending that infants and pregnant women do not get the water to be on the safe side...... and I am all about the safe side - when it comes to Parker!

We are having a great time! We have been here with Colt's dad, sisters and Austin. We miss Colt's mom... she had to stay behind to take care of her Dad. Please continue to pray for him.

We all have sun-kissed faces! Beach with a baby is very different but I am still managing to get some sun;) Parker is obsessed with the sand... he loves crawling and playing in it. Luckily he has only tried to eat it a few times! I am of course applying and reapplying sunscreen and trying to keep his hat and swim shirt on. I do not want my sweet baby to get too much sun!
