Beckett's Dedication

Today, Beckett was dedicated at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Before the service starts, Dr. Fenton's wife meets with each family and talks about what to expect and the meaning of the dedication. The one thing that she said that really stood out to me is that you should pray for your children out loud, and by name - so that your children hear and see you praying for them. LOVE!!

Dr. Fenton was wonderful and the dedication was beautiful! Beckett was smiling and cooing at him and Parker was so good too! We were joined by our family and friends and we ended our morning with a yummy brunch at Khaki and Pawpaw's house. The weather was perfect and it was a really nice day!

Alabama VS Duke

Saturday afternoon we went over to Tyler and Becky Holt's house to watch the Alabama game. I'm not sure if I watched any of it;) but, I know BAMA won big and that is all that matters! We had a great time hanging out with a few of our Sunday School buddies.

Also, this past weekend Colt was in a golf tournament. He played with some of his college friends and came home with a sun-kissed face!

Monday, Parker and I started Kindermusic class again! It was a lot of fun! Parker was very chill and just sat in my lap.... I guess once he warms up he won't stay in my lap for long.

The Babies - No we did not plan their outfits;)

Dawson Pools and Popsicles Play Date

My church had a fun play date with tons of pools, a water slide, toys and popsicles in the front lawn. It was so much fun! Parker had a blast! He was so dirty between playing in the pools, crawling in the grass and eating his popsicle! It was SO hot, but it was a lot of fun for the moms too!

Parker's Dedication

This was a big weekend for our little man! He was dedicated at Dawson Baptist Church! My family came from Memphis, TN; my Aunt Renee came from Houston, TX; Aunt Casey and Austin came in from New York; and of course most of our Birmingham family was there. Colt and I were nervous about going on stage, but Parker did a great job! Dr. Fenton was so WONDERFUL, and Parker really studied him with a serious expression! Khaki and Pawpaw had our family and friends over for lunch to celebrate, it was such a great day!
