Homewood High School

Parker went to Homewood High School for the first time to watch Aunt Molly perform in the Show Choir! Papaw, Khaki and Ganny were all there. Daddy was so excited about taking Parker to his alma matter. Parker loved watching the choir sing and dance - he was singing along with them - it was really cute! I always love watching Molly preform... its really sad that she is graduating this year and we won't get to go to her shows anymore. We are, however, very excited that she has decided to go to Alabama! Roll Tide!

Maci's 1st Birthday!

Parker went to his first birthday party! His cousin Maci turned 1 on January 20th and we celebrated this past Sunday at Gardendale Baptist Church. Her party had a poodle theme and was decorated really cute. Maci had 2 really cute wardrobe changes and got tons of gifts - she is one loved little girl! I cannot wait to watch her and Parker play together! We had a really good time seeing the birthday girl and the rest of the family!

Neat Fact:
Maci and Parker 9 months apart
Maci and Ami's birthdays are 6 days apart
Parker and I share the same birthday

Traveling

Sorry I haven't written all week... Colt, Parker, and I have been traveling around the world. Colt was in Las Vegas with his company for the National Homebuilders Convention. Parker and I were in Memphis spending quality time with my family and seeing my Uncle Taylor who was visiting from New York. While I was in Memphis, I went to dinner with my friends Krista and Charity and my friend Jamie stopped by to visit us. My sisters were so good with Parker and of course Mimi and Pops are so in love!! Parker and I left Thursday to drive back to Birmingham for my Sunday School Bunco party and my friend Janelle's surprise baby shower. On Friday, Jenna and Maggie went on a walk with us. Parker and I had a good time but we missed daddy.

2010 National Champions

Colt and his dad went to Pasadena, CA for the National Championship game! This is the longest time Colt and I have ever been apart in 4 years - Parker and I missed Daddy so much! He and his dad had a great time - especially since Alabama won - Roll Tide Roll!! Oh, and Colt met Courtney Cox... I am SO jealous! I love her!

Here are some pictures from Colt's trip

Parker is 2 Months Old!

I am a little late on Parker's 2 month update. I was waiting to post this blog until we went to the Dr. to see how much he has grown. He is now 11 pounds 2 ounces and is 22 3/4 inches long - our baby boy is getting so big! He also got his 1st set of shots and he only cried for a second. He did run a low grade fever that night and the next day... he was so pitiful!

Our little buddy is growing so fast and he is now smiling and cooing all of the time! When he talks, it sounds like he is saying "Hi" and "Oh" - he has the cutest and sweetest voice I have ever heard. He has really good head control so I have been putting him in his Bumbo chair and he LOVES it! He loves singing and talking to his music toy with lights and a mirror.

We also have some very important news, Bentley is finally in love with Parker! I was starting to worry... but now Bentley always wants to play with him and wants to be right next to him. Here are some videos of the 2 playing below.

Maggie is Home!

Great news, Chris and Jenna got to bring Maggie home today and she is doing great! The only special instructions they received from the Hospital were to be very gentle with her and to be very careful when changing her diaper (by not pulling on her legs).

They say Cooper is doing great and loves Maggie!

Please continue to pray for the Baileys and that Maggie will get good test results!

Santa on New Years Day

Here are some more pictures from Parker's first Christmas! Santa finally came to see Parker at our house! We could not take these pictures until today because we were waiting on the chair cover to come in the mail for the 2nd time - the monogramming was crooked on the first cover... The chair and blocks are from Pottery Barn Kids and daddy bought the tool set at Lowes. No, none of the gifts we bought him were age appropriate... but they were all so cute! Justin and Melinda let us borrow Evan's cute santa hat and booties - Thanks Evan!

Parker's Santa gifts! He looks like a big boy in his chair!
