Tooth Fairy

Long story short - Months ago my friend Melissa told her little boy Ben she was calling the "Tooth Fairy" which is me of course!! She also changed my name in her phone to "Tooth Fairy". Well, tonight Ben stole her phone and sent the "Tooth Fairy" a text message! This is what he sent me:

From Ben:
"My tooth is a gay wiggle I worded if you kod git me a one dolr bil yet. please&one mor. theg woch out bcoz ther is big pepl"

Translation:
"My tooth is very wiggly. I wondered if you could get me a one dollar bill already. Please, one more thing - watch out, there are big people here" (He thinks the tooth fairy is really tiny, the big people are his parents)

How funny, sweet and cute is this!!!! LOVE!

Sweet Baby Beckett!

We got to see sweet baby Beckett today -he is 19 weeks!! Ultrasounds are so amazing! He looked just like Parker did - his arms and legs were crossed and he would kick the ultrasound wand:)  He looked so comfy and laid back! Colt and I were in awe... and SO in LOVE!!! We feel so blessed and excited about him joining our family!

Our appointment went great!  I did not gain any weight in a month - which is fine because I gained plenty in the 1st 15 weeks! I will have my blood taken and sugar test next month.

We LOVE our Doctor and Sonographer (and everyone else there too)!! They are all SO great if you ever need or are looking for a new doctor - she is the BEST!  I took them thank you cookies today from Icing on the Cookie - BEST cookies ever! I got them 'baby boy themed' in honor of Beckett! They are so great to me so I wanted to give them a little something to say thank you.

LOVE our sweet Boy!!

Weekend of Family, Fun and Outside

The past week and this weekend the weather has been BEAUTIFUL!! It has been in the mid 70's - I hope this weather stays!

Friday, night was pretty lazy and we were in bed really early! Saturday was a fun and productive day! Parker and I played in the backyard while Daddy worked. Then Colt, Parker and I went to see Tommy play basketball at the Exceptional Foundation! It was a great game and Parker was running around everywhere. Next, we went to lunch at Saw's Barbecue and sat outside - yummy! After lunch, we all went down for a nap - it was a good one!  Then we went to visit Colt's grandfather - he was doing great and loved seeing Parker! And last but not least, Colt and I met little Katie and her dad at Brio for dinner - it was SO great seeing and visiting with them!  On Sunday, we met Colt's family at the park for a picnic and playing! Overall we had a great family weekend in the sun!!!

Parker is 15 1/2 Months Old!

I have not done a "monthly" update on Parker in forever so here it goes!

Colt and I are loving this age! Parker is so silly, active and can throw some great fits when he gets upset. We love this sweet boy! He is giving great hugs and kisses - when he wants too;) Colt and I thank God daily for our little boy. He is truly a blessing and brings so much joy to our lives!

Parker's Schedule:

Parker is a very scheduled baby. But, he is flexible if we need him to change up his schedule.
7AM Wakes up/ eats
9:30 Snack
11:30 Lunch
12:30 Milk and Nap
2:30 Wake from nap
3:00 Snack
5:30 Dinner
6:15 Bath
7:00/7:30 Milk and Bed time

I breastfed him for 14 months. I am pretty proud of myself - I was really on the fence about breastfeeding and it just worked for Parker and I - I think it was so great for the both of us. I also had frozen breast milk that lasted us until he was 15 months old! The breast milk really came in handy right after he had the stomach bug - I was able to give him that before we got him back on whole milk. We introduced whole milk at 12 months and he would drink a little of it  - but once I stopped breastfeeding - he naturally started on whole milk. The transition from breastfeeding was very easy for us. We dropped a feeding every 2 weeks.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! Parker and I started our day at the grocery store -  shopping to make Daddy dinner.   Then Kindermusic Class, nap and the park! It was a fun and productive day!

We got a few gifts and cards in the mail today and some arrived early last week! Khaki and Papaw also stopped by with Valentine's Day gifts! Then after Parker had a bath and was in bed - Colt and I had a nice yummy (almost) Paleo dinner. Colt is doing a paleo diet challenge with Iron Tribe Fitness. We made baked pork chops, grilled squash and grilled bacon wrapped asparagus. Most of you know how picky I am ;) So, my pork chop was a caesar pork chop and Colt's pork chop was paleo approved! I also made chocolate and peanut butter covered strawberries - sorry Colt!

Valentine's Getaway!

Colt, planned the sweetest family Valentine's Day trip to Chattanooga, TN this weekend! We left Saturday morning and headed to the Tennessee Aquarium. We had fun looking at the fish, animals and  butterflies. After that, we checked into The Chattanoogan Hotel.  Colt booked a Valentine's special that included the room, valet, dinner and brunch at the hotel restaurant.  Dinner was so nice, it was a 5 course meal - and Parker was SO good during dinner!  Sunday, we had a lazy morning relaxing in our hotel room until brunch.  OMG it was so nice - it was buffet style and had everything you could want for breakfast or lunch!  After brunch we headed to hike at Rock City - it was beautiful and the weather could not have been more perfect!  We had fun walking around and seeing the sights. Then, we headed back to our home sweet home! It was such a fun trip, short and sweet!  It was so nice to have time with just the three of us!
