Mother's Day Weekend

This past weekend my dad and sister, Allison, came in town to visit and help us with our yard sale. It was great having them here. Colt and I spent all last week pricing and organizing all of our things for the sale. Saturday,  the weather was great, Colt's parents came to help and the sale was very successful!! We are very thankful and are donating to the Alabama Baptist State Convention's Disaster Relief Fund!

Sunday, I had a great Mother's Day! Parker slept till 8:15 - that was my first Mother's Day gift! Colt cooked breakfast for my family and I - it was SO yummy! There were also flowers and a Mother's Day banner waiting on me! We all played outside with Parker, ate lunch and after my family left we all took a nap. For dinner we had a family picnic at the park - the weather was so nice and we had the best time hanging out and playing! Parker and Beckett gave me a card with our renewed Zoo membership! Yea!! Then, we ended our night with homemade ice cream at Colt's parents house!

We had a great weekend and I am a very blessed Mama!! Thank you for everyone who thought about me with cards and messages!

Weekend Fun!

Friday night we took Parker to get his 3rd haircut and Colt got his haircut too! Parker did a great job - this time we had him in Colt's lap with a sucker and Iphone. I am ready for his hair to grow back out ;)

Saturday was a great day! It started off with Colt letting me sleep in... LOVE! Then, we headed to Clara's 3rd birthday party! It was princess themed and a lot of fun, but Parker would not dance with Cinderella - how funny - he is all boy! Then we headed home to put Parker down for a nap before my sisters and dad arrived. When they got here we decorated belated birthday cupcakes for my dad's 54th birthday and then we all went to the park. When we got home we started preparing birthday dinner - salad, hashbrown casserole, steaks and bread. YUMMY!  Colt's parents came to dinner too - we had a great time talking and hanging out. Afterwards, all the guys went to bed the girls and I went and saw the movie "Just go With it" SOOOOO good!! It is so funny!!

Sunday, we got up and I made biscuits, bacon, and homemade gravy! Yummy! We played with Parker, went to the Park and played in the water table. It was a beautiful and family filled day! After Parker went to bed, Colt made a yummy surprise dinner!  Then we started working hard on getting ready for the Lil Lambs consignment sale at Trinity Methodist Church this weekend. It is a great consignment sale that starts on Friday and ends Saturday afternoon.

Weekend of Family, Fun and Outside

The past week and this weekend the weather has been BEAUTIFUL!! It has been in the mid 70's - I hope this weather stays!

Friday, night was pretty lazy and we were in bed really early! Saturday was a fun and productive day! Parker and I played in the backyard while Daddy worked. Then Colt, Parker and I went to see Tommy play basketball at the Exceptional Foundation! It was a great game and Parker was running around everywhere. Next, we went to lunch at Saw's Barbecue and sat outside - yummy! After lunch, we all went down for a nap - it was a good one!  Then we went to visit Colt's grandfather - he was doing great and loved seeing Parker! And last but not least, Colt and I met little Katie and her dad at Brio for dinner - it was SO great seeing and visiting with them!  On Sunday, we met Colt's family at the park for a picnic and playing! Overall we had a great family weekend in the sun!!!

Surprising Weekend!

We had a fun and busy weekend! Parker is finally back to his old self and feeling good again!! Jamie came in town to visit and Friday was Jenna's birthday. Colt and I were on our way to celebrate Jenna's birthday and Colt said we had to make a stop to get something he needed for work... he did not tell the truth!! He SURPRISED me BIG time with a new SUV!! We have been talking and looking for a new car but I had no idea he had bought one! I LOVE Colt so much and I am so thankful for his handwork and thoughtfulness for me and our family!!! I still cannot believe it is mine... It was sad to say goodbye to my car - it was the 1st car we purchased together as a married couple. But, SO excited about our new family car!

Saturday, Parker was invited to a party at iJump for Abby McElheny!  It was a lot of fun and Abby looked like a doll!  Parker was not a fan of slides or jumping - I think it was just a little overwhelming for him. Jenna and I left a little early for Jenna's birthday surprise - we went to lunch with Jamie and Maleah and for a spa pedicure. We had a great girls afternoon!!  After, Colt, Parker and I went out for dinner, a few errands and stopped by and visited the sweet Kennedy family!

Sunday, Colt and I had to keep the nursery at church, had lunch with his family and went to the Harpole's house for a fun Superbowl party! We had a great time but did not last too long - Parker needed to get in the bed.

So, we had a great fun family weekend! Molly was in town and watched Parker several times for us - they had a great time! Parker thinks his Aunt Molly is so funny!!
