Roll Tide Roll

Last weekend we took the boys to tailgate in Tuscaloosa before the Iron Bowl. We played with the Bailey's and in the bouncy houses - the boys loved it! I took the boys home while Colt went to the game.

Here are a few iPhone pictures. I promise I am going to pull out my real camera soon!

Parker's 1st Alabama Game

This past Saturday, we got to take Parker to his 1st Alabama game! It was the BEST experience! Parker LOVED it and we all had a great time! We did not take Beckett but he had a great time watching the game with his Pawpaw, Khaki, Aunt Molly, Ganny, Aunt Tami, Uncle Jim, Uncle Terry and Branson!

Alabama Homecoming

We took the boys to Tuscaloosa to enjoy the Alabama Homecoming festivities! When we arrived, we stopped to see Molly's apartment and meet her roommates.  It is super cute and her roommates were so sweet!

Next, we stopped by the Alpha Chi house to see the "Homecoming lawn decorations" that Molly and her sorority sisters have been working on all week, they won 2nd place!!

Then, we headed over to catch the parade. It was so hot while we waited on the parade to reach us, but we had the best spot! We were on the front row and could literally touch the people in the parade - a few girls stopped to give Parker a high five.  He was super shy and didn't have a lot of reaction... so I am really not sure how he felt about the parade.

After the parade, we headed to the Alagasco tent for some food.  We saw two of the families that Colt has built  for - we love them! (and we want to be their neighbors!)  Last, but not least we saw little Katie (she is the only person I am REALLY taller than) and her sweet dad!!

The boys were really good!  Parker was really sleepy because he missed his nap. He ended up getting in Beckett's carseat on the way back to car and fell asleep while eating M&M's. Every year at homecoming, the alumni cheerleaders get to go out on the field before the game and lead the crowd. This year, we decided it would be too much for the boys since the game was so late. Hopefully, I will get to go next year!!

HOMECOMING Day - Alabama VS Ole Miss

Every year at Alabama's Homecoming, the Alumni Cheerleaders have a reunion. My Dad and sisters met us in Tuscaloosa! The game was at 8PM so I did not go but Colt, Dad, Michele, Colt's Dad and Ganny all went to the game. Colt's mom, Allison, Parker and I came back to Birmingham to put Parker to bed - it was a fun day!

Pictures are all from my Iphone... I forgot my camera;(

Alabama VS Duke

Saturday afternoon we went over to Tyler and Becky Holt's house to watch the Alabama game. I'm not sure if I watched any of it;) but, I know BAMA won big and that is all that matters! We had a great time hanging out with a few of our Sunday School buddies.

Also, this past weekend Colt was in a golf tournament. He played with some of his college friends and came home with a sun-kissed face!

Monday, Parker and I started Kindermusic class again! It was a lot of fun! Parker was very chill and just sat in my lap.... I guess once he warms up he won't stay in my lap for long.

Mamas and Babies!

The Babies - No we did not plan their outfits;)

How much do I LOVE this boy!!

Super Bowl Party

Colt, Parker and I had a few friends over for the Super Bowl! The McElheny's, Wilson's and Bailey's. It was a lot of fun! We had 6 kids upstairs! It is so funny how things have changed! We had mini tacos - Chicken, BBQ, Steak or ground beef, and I also made an ice cream sandwich cake.... ummm SO good! It is so easy to make, here is the recipe. If you make it, let me know what you think!

Ingredients:
1 tub Cool Whip
1/2 cup Hot Fudge Ice Cream Topping, Warmed
1PKG Jell-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
8 Oreo Cookies, Crushed
12 Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwiches

1. Mix in a bowl, fudge topping, 1 Cup of cool whip, dry Jell-o mix, and oreos.
2. Arrange 4 ice cream sandwiches, side-by-side then put 1/2 of mixture then repeat layers.
3. Frost top and sides with remaining cool whip. I also sprinkle crushed oreo cookies on top.

It is as good as it looks!
