Alabama Homecoming

We took the boys to Tuscaloosa to enjoy the Alabama Homecoming festivities! When we arrived, we stopped to see Molly's apartment and meet her roommates.  It is super cute and her roommates were so sweet!

Next, we stopped by the Alpha Chi house to see the "Homecoming lawn decorations" that Molly and her sorority sisters have been working on all week, they won 2nd place!!

Then, we headed over to catch the parade. It was so hot while we waited on the parade to reach us, but we had the best spot! We were on the front row and could literally touch the people in the parade - a few girls stopped to give Parker a high five.  He was super shy and didn't have a lot of reaction... so I am really not sure how he felt about the parade.

After the parade, we headed to the Alagasco tent for some food.  We saw two of the families that Colt has built  for - we love them! (and we want to be their neighbors!)  Last, but not least we saw little Katie (she is the only person I am REALLY taller than) and her sweet dad!!

The boys were really good!  Parker was really sleepy because he missed his nap. He ended up getting in Beckett's carseat on the way back to car and fell asleep while eating M&M's. Every year at homecoming, the alumni cheerleaders get to go out on the field before the game and lead the crowd. This year, we decided it would be too much for the boys since the game was so late. Hopefully, I will get to go next year!!
