Saturday Birthday Fun

This Saturday, we went to Harrison and Evan's birthday parties! It was a fun, but busy day! I cannot believe all of our babies are all turning two!! Both parties were so much fun but I only got pictures from one party.

Christmas Tree Hunting

Its a little late but here are a few pictures of us buying our Christmas Tree. I would love to say we went to a Christmas tree farm and picked one out... but we did not. We went to Lowes and pretty much picked the first one we saw. But, it is very beautiful! These are pictures from my phone so the quality is not very good. I hope to post pictures of our decorations soon!

2011 Christmas Card

Most of you know that I LOVE creating, sending and receiving Christmas Cards, Birth Announcements or Birthday Invitations! I know it sounds crazy but I also really enjoy addressing and stuffing them! Colt usually helps me too, we have a whole crazy system... address, check, stamp, stamp, its SO fun!!

This is the second year I have let The Blink Lady make our Christmas Card, I obviously love her!

Our card is two sides and one side is a full 5x7 picture that you could frame

Thankful for Thanksgiving

The rest of our Thanksgiving weekend was wonderful! We enjoyed lots of sweet family time, shopping at the outlets, beach time, The Muppet Movie and the park. The weather was amazing too!

The only part of our trip that was not good was our "four hour" car ride that turned into a slow and rainy SEVEN AND A HALF because of bad traffic! The boys actually handled it really well - mommy and daddy... not so much.

Thanksgiving 2011

"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ..."

I am so thankful to God for all of our many blessings! Just to name a few... I am so thankful for a wonderful husband who loves me and our boys. Colt is very thoughtful, loving and hard working! I am thankful for God blessing us with his most precious gifts - Parker and Beckett. Colt, Parker and Beckett - there are not enough words to describe my love for you all. God is SO good for allowing me to be Colt's wife and Parker and Beckett's mom! I hope I never take those roles for granted - especially when it is so easy to get caught up in our everyday crazy, busy life! We are also so thankful for our family, friends and church!

Today, was one of the best Thanksgivings ever!! It may be the start of a new tradition with our family! We had a relaxing morning and had pumpkin muffins for breakfast! Then, I began to prepare our lunch. I have to confess... we bought a rotisserie chicken from the store! I am a little sad that I did not cook my first turkey this Thanksgiving, but it was a lot easier. Everything I cooked turned out SO yummy - if I do say so myself ;) Colt and I both cleaned our plates! I am thinking about posting a blog with my recipes later. If there is one you want, just let me know.

Then, both boys (plus, Colt and I) took a 3 hour nap!! When we woke up, it was already getting dark! It was very rare and we were very thankful! I was, however, a little sad I missed laying out. Tonight, we took the boys to Baytowne in Sandestin to let Parker play in the park and walk around. I even got to jump on the trampoline - it was SO fun and I did all kinds of flips! I was so dizzy and nauseous when I got off- I guess I am getting too old to do crazy things like that!
