We arrived in Birmingham at 10:30PM saturday night. I really wanted to get back home so we could celebrate Easter at home. I didn't feel as prepared as usual for Easter this year because we have been so busy. I did not have the boys Easter baskets as "perfect" as I would have liked... but I know that Easter is NOT about the baskets and toys and that is not what I want my boys to be focused on when they get older. So, that's what I was trying to remind myself of last night.
We started the morning with Easter baskets and Easter egg hunting. Please excuse the boys pajamas - we just let them sleep in the shirts they had on in the car last night.

"The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you."
Matthew 28:5-7
