Colt turned 30 last weekend and it was an all weekend long - Birthday celebration!!
First, he had a surprise work breakfast at his parent's house! He thought he was meeting his dad to go over some jobs - and the whole company was there! Yes, the boys and I are in our pajamas - it was 7AM :)
The next birthday surprise happened Friday night! Colt and I were sitting on the couch at around 11PM when Casey called Colt and told him that Fed Ex was supposed to have delivered a package and she got a confirmation that they had delivered it to our front porch - and told Colt to go look for it. So he gets up - in his boxers and no shirt - and goes to the look for the package. He finds a card with his name on it and a coffee mug... and then Casey and Molly come out from behind the car and yell 'SURPRISE!' Casey had flown in town for Colt's birthday and had not told anyone she was coming - except me! She even surprised Colt's parents!!
Saturday morning, we had a golf tournament planned for Colt and his friends - but it rained :( I had made "goodie-bags" for the golf tournament and had prizes for: the best golfer, longest drive, closest to the pin, best dressed, and one for the worst golfer!! We were going to have lunch and an awards ceremony after - so with all of that planning - we had to reschedule it in April! Since he didn't get to golf, we went to brunch at Another Broken Egg in Mountain Brook Village with Colt's family!

Saturday night, I planned a birthday dinner with friends and family at Do Di Yo's in their private room! We had so much fun and appreciate everyone coming! I made party favors for our dinner guests - "Colt's Favorite Things!"

Cheers to sisters!
Sunday was the big day - Colt's real birthday! First, I let him sleep in til 9 - which he never gets to do - it was his special request! Then, another special request, I cooked him banana pancakes (Jack Johnson song) bacon, biscuits and gravy for breakfast! Then, the boys brought Daddy his gifts!
(Yes, Parker is still wearing Christmas pajamas - they still fit)
And they helped him open them
Next, we got ready and the boys took Daddy to the zoo! We had a great day and afternoon spending good family time!!
Family Fun!
Love these guys!!
Up close and personal with the flamingo's - probably not safe!
Sunday night, Parker and Beckett went to spend the night at Khaki and Pawpaw's. Casey was still in town so they got some good love and had a great time! After we dropped them off, I surprised Colt with Banana Republic Outlet shopping and then with Rock Climbing at 5th Ave Rocks! He is like a monkey on the climbing wall!
Next, we went home and got ready and went to dinner at Metro Prime Steakhouse and then went to a movie! It was a really special weekend - thanks to everyone one who was a part of it and who helped celebrate Colt's 30th! I know he felt very loved!
