I cannot believe I forgot to do this blog!! Our sweet friends Jenna and Chris had a special birthday party for me. They had the Wilson's and our family over for dinner, cake and presents! Everything was perfect! Thank you SO much to Jenna and Melinda and their friendship, I am very thankful for both of these women!!

Parker is ONE!

Today is our little miracle's birthday!! Time has gone by SO quickly! I know everyone says that but I feel like I was just in the hospital holding him for the first time! WOW! I loved him before I was pregnant, when I was pregnant and I knew I would love him when he got here... but words cannot describe my LOVE for him and it grows daily!! I thank God everyday for the two guys in my life!

Today is also my Birthday! I am another year older with a 1 year old... I guess I am officially an adult;) Ha Ha! God blessed me with the best gift - Parker! Who can top that? But, I want to say that Colt, my family and friends have not forgotten my birthday and made me feel SO special too!! Colt surprised me a day early with a "Birthday Date Night"! His mom came to the house to watch Parker and we went to Ruth's Chris! YUMMY!! We ate a ton of great food! When we got home he surprised me with my very own new Mac lap top (that is why I did 5 blogs last night)!!!

Today we woke up with Parker made him muffins and sang Happy Birthday to him, took him to lunch and had dinner at Khaki and Pawpaw's house! Dinner was SO special tonight - Colt's mom was so sweet to have us and family over for Parker's "real" 1st birthday. She had the dining room table decorated SO cute, made chicken, green bean bundles and mac and cheese (my favs) and even surprised us with a Dreamkcake!! It was a really special night with family! Parker already got tons of great gifts!! The BEST part of the night was when Maci taught Parker to CLAP!! As most of you know I have been worrying and obsessing about it!! GREAT BIRTHDAY for Parker and I!

Now we are preparing for Parker's Birthday party at our house with his family and friends! I have been in full party planning mode;) Jamie and Molly will be here tomorrow night, Casey and my parents and sisters will be here Saturday and Mamaw and Pawpaw and Kat will be here Sunday! I know some of our other family and friends from out of town are not going to be able to make it:( we will miss you but you will be with us in spirit!

I want to thank everyone for making us feel SO special! I have loved all of the phone calls, texts, emails and facebook messages! I love you ALL!

So Blessed and Thankful for Ash and Parker!

This blog is long overdue. It is actually my first official blog (although I edit and rewrite most of them for Ash) .

I have just spent this past week as a "bachelor" as Ashley and Parker spent the week in Memphis visiting her family. Not that I didn't know already, but I see even more how thankful I am for Ashley and how blessed that she is my wife! She does so much for me and for our family and household. She takes care of so many things and allows me to focus on my work, which by the way is the only way I made it through the week - by working all day and night! I don't recommend it but it got me through the week - I am exhausted.

She is also an amazing mom to Parker. I could never have imagined how perfect a job she would do - and with such an energetic and crazy little boy (it's only going to get crazier I can imagine). I could not ask for anything more from her. I guess I missed Parker a "little" bit too... I could not stop looking at the pictures and videos Ashley was sending me and showing them to everyone I was with.

Not that what I have written here are not things you all already know if you know Ashley, but I just thought I'd share my thanks for her. Her and Parker are such a wonderful blessing to my life and I do not know what I would do without them!
