Valentine's Day 2012

Valentine's Day was a fun day! It started with balloons and bubbles for the boys! Parker had his Valentine's Day party at school, so I made treats for his class. Then, after nap time, Colt and I headed to Tuscaloosa for an early dinner and the basketball game. We had the best time!! After the game, we met Molly and Brandon for dessert, it was so great spending time with them!

The Super Bowl

Colt and I thought it would be fun to all wear jerseys to Colt's parents to watch the Super Bowl. We did not have the correct team jerseys so we thought it would be funny to wear the wrong ones... and really the only ones we have. Beckett and I wore Cowboys jerseys, Colt wore his high school Patriots jersey and Parker wore his Alabama Jersey.

Unfortunately, I did not get very good pictures.

Maggie is Coming Home!

Maggie is coming home tomorrow! Jenna and Chris said that Maggie is doing great! They got out of the hospital yesterday and stayed in a hotel last night and tonight. Maggie will not have to see her doctor in Birmingham for four weeks! She is a rock star! Thank you so much for your prayers!

Today, is also Jenna's 30th Birthday! Happy Birthday friend, I love you!!

Chris and Jenna have been so sweet to FaceTime with us everyday! I am posting a video Parker made for Maggie the day of her surgery - He has had a bad cold this week so that is why he looks and sounds pitiful. We sent small gifts for Maggie to open everyday. I put a picture in each one so that Maggie would know they were from Parker and Beckett. (The Hot Tamales were for Jenna)

Maggie Bailey Update!

Maggie's surgery went great yesterday! Her and her parents will be in the hospital a few more days. Thank you all for the prayers! Please keep them coming for a speedy recovery and that Jenna and Chris are getting plenty of rest too.

Tonight, we were able to FaceTime with them! Love technology! Parker loves his "Mag". She looked so sweet and was not chatty but was able to still blow kisses to Parker - love. Those two have a special bond. Love it!

Prayer Request for Maggie Bailey

Sweet Maggie Bailey is having her first surgery this morning. She is getting a wire and a rod put in one of her legs. Maggie and her parents are in Omaha all week and she will be in a cast for four weeks. If you could please say a prayer for her and for a speedy and easy recovery!! Also, if you could pray for Cooper. This is the longest Chis and Jenna have been away from Cooper -but, he is with both sets of grandparents so I am sure he will be good and spoiled when they get back :)

Maci is 3 Years Old!

Sweet Maci is 3 years old!! She had a Mickey themed birthday party and it was so cute and fun! So much thought and planning went into it! We all had a great time and it is always great to spend time catching up with family! Happy Birthday Maci!! We LOVE you!!

Happy Half Birthday!

On January 1st, our sweet Beckett boy turned 6 months old - time is going by SO fast!! He is just the sweetest, happiest, laid back and cutest baby!! He is growing and changing daily! We are all so in love with him. We celebrated his half birthday with the Bailey Family... I got the idea from Jenna and Caroline. We had them over for dinner and cookies, and I gave each child a candle to blow out.
(No, we did not let Beckett try the cookie... poor B)

Beckett's Skills:

Sitting up, Scooting backwards, babbling, silly faces, serious faces, can grab ANYTHING - he is so quick! Mimics blowing bubbles and is almost up on all fours.

Beckett's Loves:

Mommy, Daddy and Brother, Tyson, Big Boy Baths with Brother, Being Held, Moby Wrap, Stroller Rides, toys, exersaucer and LOVES kisses!!

Beckett's Stats:

Weight - 15 pounds 8 ounces

Height - 25 3/4 inches

Beckett's Schedule:

Wake at 7AM, Morning and Afternoon Nap, Bedtime 7PM. He is a great sleeper - but if something is going on, or he knows people are in the house he has a hard time going to sleep... He just does not want to miss anything! He nurses about 5 times a day - sometimes more. We are starting baby food, I am making homemade baby food again. Colt's mom got me a baby food maker for Christmas, I LOVE it! Here is the link of how I used to make it - without my cool baby food maker ;)

We are very thankful to God for our sweet Beckett!! We just want to eat him up!!
