Prayer Request

Please pray for my Grandmother Rose.  She had a mild stroke a few days ago, and is in the hospital and not doing well.  She seemed to have been recovering well but last night she took a turn for the worst. She is in a coma and on oxygen right now, so the doctors recommended that the family come and see her.

So, today, after nap time I literally packed everything I could think of as fast as I could and loaded up the boys and myself to get to Memphis (I am glad Memphis is only four hours away)  It was not an easy car ride with my "sweet" boys (sugar coating). But, talking and listening to Parker was a lot of fun - my favorite thing he did was when he kept dropping toys and snacks and saying "Awe Man" in the cutest voice ever!

When I arrived to Memphis, my sisters and pops watched the boys so I could visit with my grandmother. I was able to hold her hand and talk to her. I told her how much I loved her and how proud I was to be her granddaughter. My mom was with me and we both told some funny stories and memories that we have shared with her.  I hope she knew I was there and enjoyed listening to our stories.

My mom is really sweet with her and keeps applying fresh lipstick on her. For those of you that know her she LOVES her red lipstick!! So, of course, she is looking fabulous in the hospital. Thank you for your prayers. Please pray for my mom as she is having to make some tough decisions, not getting any sleep, and is having to take off work.
