So... last week was "Catch Up" on our life week! We were very busy but managed to get some rest all at the same time... that is how I like it! When we travel, Parker wakes up in the middle of the night (when we are at home, he usually sleeps 12 hours without waking) - luckily he has gotten right back on schedule! I love schedules/plans!!! Last week, we went to the pool twice, McWane Science Center, our Sunday School Social and Colt's Father's Day date night!
I will try and be a better blogger so my blogs are not so long... keyword is try!
Monday, the pool was fun and adventurous - Cooper, wanted to "hand" me my Iphone and instead, it went right into the pool... it worked for a while but then went dead. Luckily the Apple store was wonderful and replaced my phone! Yea!! Plus, everyone knows that Cooper can do no wrong in my eyes! I love that boy!! Jenna, Cooper, Maggie, Parker and I went to McWane Science Center. We were going to meet a few of the girls from my Sunday School class but we arrived late so we missed everyone.. but ended up having a great time anyway! Thursday night, our Sunday School had a social at the Harpole's house.. it was so much fun catching up with everyone and the Harpole's home was beautiful!
Friday, was a wonderful night! Colt's parents came over and played with Parker and gave him his bath while Colt and I got ready to go on our date! Then I put Parker down for the night and we went out! We went to Dodiyos in SOHO and to the movies. We did not get home till almost 1AM! Sweet Molly relieved her parents to stay with Parker till we got home. It was a great night! Colt is a wonderful, hard-working and loving dad and husband. He deserved this night and so much more. Parker and I love him very much!! I LOVE my boys!!
This weekend was so fun because we had nothing we "had" to do! Those are the best weekends! We laid out by the pool, watched movies after Parker went to bed, went grocery shopping and tried a new yummy recipe!
This week is already full speed ahead! Parker and I went to the Birmingham Zoo today with Ami, Maci, Ganny, Cammy and Branson. It was fun but SO hot! We did not last very long but enjoyed it! Tonight, Justin, Melinda, and Evan came over for dinner! It was so good to see them; they are such good friends and we are pushing the boys to be best buds! I think it is working;) Tomorrow we are going to take Parker's 8 month pictures with the Blink Lady!
