Scary Bad Stomach Bug...

If you read my earlier blogs you know that the boys and I had viruses... Well, our sweet Parker started throwing up very bad last Saturday and it got worse from there :( We went to the doctor 5 times in 6 days and ended up at the ER getting fluids. I have never seen Parker (or any child) so sick and almost lethargic I cannot tell you how scared Colt and I were.... the bottom line is that his stomach is extra sensitive (which we already knew) and so on top of the virus, his stomach could not keep anything down. He was so tough and did everything the doctors asked him to do - peed in a cup, X-ray, finger pricks, strep test, answered tons of questions and so much more. It took him almost a week after the ER to get back to normal but our sweet, opinionated and busy boy is back and going full speed again!

How scary is this? My sweet boy - my heart was hurting for him. 

There were some positives about this experience - trusting and leaning on God - its so comforting to be able to turn to prayer.  Also, we got a really clean house - I disinfected and deep cleaned several times, and washed every piece of clothing and linens!  We also got a lot of sweet cuddle time with Parker!

I loved watching Colt help take care of both of our sick boys - we were both going off of no sleep and not feeling well... Colt was also having to working hard and was still with me and the boys most every step of the way. He is the best dad and husband!  Love this pic of he and Parker!

We are so thankful to God for healing our sweet boy!!
