Sunday was Michele's big day! She had her 7th grade band concert at the high school. Before the concert, my mom and I went to visit my grandmother Rose. She did not really recognize me, but was doing really good - we had a great visit and great conversation! Then, we headed to lunch at Mamaw and Papaw's where Parker was of course the center of attention! After lunch we went to Michele's band concert - she looked so grown up on stage! It was a really good concert!! After the concert we packed the car and headed home. On our way out of Memphis, we stopped at my granddaddy Jere's house. It was so good to spend some time with him!! He has a new cat named Sam which we quickly learned that Parker is NOT a fan of. It might be a good thing he doesn't like cats, because mommy is allergic.
We had a nice drive and it was SO good to be home and in our own beds!
